American seeking winter property-care
I’m an independent artist looking for a quiet property in the Grasse / Mougins / Valbonne / Châteauneuf-Grasse area where I can park and live in my own van during the winter. I’m particularly interested in helping someone who owns a second home or spends part of the winter away and would appreciate having a reliable person present on the property. I can keep an eye on the house, collect mail, water plants, do garden care and generally provide a reassuring presence while the owner is away. I’m also open to discussing additional paid property-care work if needed. I live independently in my van, so I am not necessarily looking for accommodation inside the house. What I would ideally need is a safe place to park and an agreed arrangement for access to basic facilities, like electricity, and hot showers. I’m quiet, responsible and respectful of privacy and property. English-speaking, with references available. I’m primarily looking for an arrangement for winter 2026–27, and I’m happy to meet beforehand to see whether we’re a good fit.
